Alexandra Eala’s fairy tale race at the Miami Open ended when Jessica Pegula has reserved her place in the final.
Few tennis fans were aware of Eala two weeks ago, but she quickly made a name after her historic race at the Miami Open.
The world number 140 has obtained victories in three Grand Slam champions in Florida: Jelena Ostapenko, Madison Keys and Iga Swiatek.

Eala’s victory against Swiatek in the quarterfinals guaranteed him a place in the top 100 when the next ranking set will be published on Monday, becoming the first Philippin player to do so.
She may not have gone to the end, because Eala fell to defeat against Pegula, but she certainly won the hearts of fans around the world, who were particularly in love with what she did after her defeat in Miami.

Sitting on his bench after losing against Pegula, 6-7, 7-5, 3-6, Eala can be seen taking the love of the Floridian crowd.
The 19 -year -old threw his hands in the air, smiling with defeat, while fans reacted by waving Filipino flags.
Many went to X to share their reflections at the comforting moment between Eala and the open crowd of Miami.
“I love his emotion,” said a fan.
“What a joyful attitude of (Alexandra) Eala,” added another.
“Tons of reasons to love him right now, superstar in the making.”
“I love the way she dipped him,” said a fan.
A fan went to X to rent the young Philippine star for her race in Miami who saw her knock three main champions.
“Aww his smile,” they said.
“Cindereal’s race has unfortunately ended, but, at least, we can say that Alex Eala is really a large fireplace killer.
“Whether it is simply the start of its ascent. Let’s go. “
“Alex did not win the tournament or the final, but she won respect and the heart not only of the great tennis players, but around the world,” said Noli Eala, his uncle.
“Continue to move forward, Vamos Alex.”
A Filippino fan compared Eala’s media coverage to another of the country’s sports heroes.
“Alex Eala obtains the coverage of Manny Pacquiao,” they said.
“It’s so much good to finally tell someone (from) ours.”
Manny Pacquiao, widely considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, was another to congratulate Eala for her race at the Miami Open semi-finals.
“You may not have made the final, but you won the heart of the world, Alex Eala,” he said.
“The whole nation is proud.
“This is only the beginning, you have shown the heart of a real champion, the future is brilliant for you.”

At 19, Eala has her whole career ahead of her, a lot predicting great things for the young person.

The Philippine star should then appear at the ITF Bellinzona Ladies Open event, where she will compete as a number one series.
Fans will undoubtedly be impatient to look at their new favorite new return to action when Eala appears before the court in Switzerland on April 7.
