In January, Gout joined Noah Lyles in a training camp in the United States, then called the 100m Olympic champion on his podcast, saying that he came for the American in Tokyo.
Australia, the other weapons with male sprint raised Lachie Kennedy were appointed to the 100m, despite being stung for gold by Rohan Browning at the Australian championships.
Kennedy challenged the 4x100m relay at the Paris Olympic Games and made giant progress in the following eight months, in particular by winning money in the 60m worldwide in China in March.
Gout and Kennedy both played admirably out of the back-off during the Stawell gift last weekend before being grouped in the semi-finals.
The two did their best to finish second, but could not overcome the brutal disabilities imposed on them, which led certain athletics fans to affirm that their chances were sabotaged by the organizers.
Gout started 8.75 meters behind the possible gift winner, school teacher John Evans.
Three of the seven medalists in Australia at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games – the rider raised Eleanor Patterson and the Walkers Jemima Montag and Rhydian Cowley – were also included in the first group of 17 candidates after meeting the complicated qualification criteria.
The gold medalist at the pole jump of the Paris Olympic Games, Nina Kennedy, the 1500m silver medalist Jessica Hull, the high jumper Nicola Olyslars and the Discus Titan Matt Denny will be added to the team in the coming months.
The group named Wednesday also includes several members of the Australian cannons in the intermediate distance such as Peyton Craig and Claudia Hollingsworth (800m) and Cameron Myers in 1500m.
