Teen Mom Tyler Reacts After Her Adoptive Parents Denied Carly Visitation

Tyler Baltierra reflects on the ‘disappointing’ choice made by his daughter’s adoptive parents

Tyler Bartierra requires a little more empathy.

THE Teen mom an elder stood up for his wife Catelynn Lowell after receiving backlash for sharing an emotional message about not being able to visit their daughter Carly, 14, who they gave up for adoption in 2009 on MTV. 16 and pregnant.

“This choice does not come without a natural human cost,” Tyler explained in a lengthy note shared to his Instagram Story on May 10. “Most will never know the pain of what it takes to fight against the most powerful, biological, instinctual nature that is necessary to make that choice. Most will never know what it is like to grow up, to to nurture, love and carry such beautiful, perfect innocence as your own baby… only to painfully abandon that natural connection with another to do what you know you can not for the sake of your baby.

Acknowledging that Catelynn, in particular, “fights this pain every day,” the 32-year-old then slammed those who criticize the reality star for sharing her feelings.

“The fact that she expresses this pain on these particular days when she is vulnerable, sad and lost should not be used as an attack on her character,” Tyler argued. “All I ask is just to be kind, PLEASE.”
