The former star of reality Teddi Mellencamp revealed that his skin cancer reached stage 4 after the doctors found tumors on his lungs and his brain who required surgery this year.
Mellencamp, who once played on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills of Bravo,” said fans in February that she needed an emergency brain operation after scans discovered several tumors. She later said that the melanoma with which she had been diagnosed in 2022 had metastasized and that two tumors were also found on her lungs.
In a new interview with US Weekly published on Wednesday, Mellencamp said that she received radiation and treatment with immunotherapy. His medical team “would discover with certainty exactly where we hear ourselves on June 1.”
Two days after the interview, the magazine reported that four additional tumors had been found during an emergency analysis and that Mellencamp’s treatment was going to change.
Mellencamp said in her interview that she was looking forward to being able to “return to normal”.
“I want to try new things, travel more with children, continue to build a life and do our best and have fun together,” she said. “This is my goal.”
She also said that her father, singer John Mellencamp, calls to register every day and that the pair has come closer since her emergency procedure.
“I did not expect all my family to go out here within 24 hours, but when I was not surgical, everyone was there,” she said. “My father hates it, so the fact that he was here for 18 days – Wow. It says a lot.”
Mellencamp had been under treatment in progress for her skin cancer and had his 16th melanoma point removed in September, according to people.
MellenoCamp left “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” after three seasons, although she said that she remained close to several actors. She credited Star Kyle Richards for helping her be seen at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center when she lived debilitating headaches.
Richards was there for his “non-stop”, told Mellencamp Us Weekly. She also said that her family was in therapy to help treat her medical difficulties.
Her ex-husband, Edwin Arroyave, returned home to help take care of their children, she said.
“And I’m really lucky that Edwin, from whom I was in the midst of a divorce, we put everything on hold. … It made things much easier,” she said.
