Teddi Mellencamp received 50/50 ratings of his doctors to have beaten his cancer, she said.
THE Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The former musician and daughter of musician John Mellencamp talked about the conversations she had with her doctors in a frank interview with Night line which was broadcast on Thursday.
“I learned that it was not the best question to ask you if you do immunotherapy, because immunotherapy has only been about 10 years,” said Teddi, 43. “It is one of my favorite things to ask, it was” how long did I spend? What are my chances? “And they often say 50/50.
She continued, “and (the doctor) like:” No, it’s only because it is the duration of immunotherapy, so how long the study has worked. “So that’s where I try to find the positive.
Since 2022, Teddi has faced melanoma outside, but in February, she learned that she had stage 4 melanoma, and that has metastasized with her brain and lungs.

During the interview, she was asked what she wanted most that people know about her at the moment of her life. “I think the most important thing is not to take anything for acquired,” she replied. “Normally, I used to run seven miles, today I just walk. But what do you know? I’m here and that makes me feel good. These are special moments that we can do all of this.”
However, Teddi admitted that she normally liked to feel in control. “It’s completely out of my control, and for the first time, I’m really frightened,” she said.
But nevertheless, Teddi said that she had found humor in the situation, which helps her remain positive.
“If I couldn’t find any humor, I will cry,” she said. “Even with my children, the other day, we continued to forget something and we often go:” Tumors! ” It is sort of the only means.
