TCL has just launched its latest Google TV game in the high-end QM8K series, with upgrades to the QD-Mini LED package software as well as huge display updates and a new tip with the speakers.
THE TCL QM8K series Use the new “Crystglow Whva” panel from the company which has 35% additional gradation zones to improve black and better colors levels, as well as 65% higher peak brightness in the HDR content. This is made possible in part thanks to the new TCL “halo control system” which includes a new chip for many other improvements.
TCL explains:
The Halo control system offers three key advantages, including improved colors, improved gray accuracy, as well as practically no flowering, for more natural and breathtaking image quality. The super energy super energy LED of the new system combines high brightness with increased light efficiency while a super condensed micro-objective uses a narrower path of light for more precise light control. In addition, the new micro OD TCL reduces the optical distance between the backlight and the diffuser plate, helping to avoid light overlapping for practically no flowering or halo effect, to produce clear and sharp edges between bright and black blacks.
But the greatest upgrade you might notice is around the display or, rather, this not there.
TCL implements its new “zero -burning”, which indeed means that there is no telescope at all, while the TV as a whole is built with an aluminum alloy. TCL says that the glasses just measure “3-4 mm” which is simply incredibly narrow on a device of this size.

Another upgrade area is in the integrated audio. TCL uses new speakers built with Bang & Olufsen. These should be improved compared to your average integrated speakers for a TV, but where they really stand out, it is in their ability to associate with TCL “FlexConnect” audio configurations. This uses the television speaker jointly with the TCL Z100 speaker for a “panoramic” and flexible audio configuration in their house.

THE The TCL QM8K series is now available from Best Buy In the United States, from $ 2,499.99, and you will also find upgrades in the software alongside Google TV. This should also be one of the first televisions that obtain the upgrade of the Gemini.
