Taylor Swift writes thank you note after 4th show of Paris Eras tour

Shortly after Taylor Swift closed out her fourth and final sold-out Paris concert during her record-breaking Eras Tour on May 12, the superstar shared her thoughts on the experience on social media.

On Instagram and XSwift, 34, discussed adding her latest album — The Department of Tortured Poets (TTPD) — to the tour, which meant including seven songs from TTPnew outfits, sets and choreography.

“This article is dedicated to the new Tortured poets from the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made those memories so magical,” Swift wrote in her caption, alongside stunning photos of this section of the show’s 46-song setlist.

Swift resumed her tour on May 9 after a nearly two-month hiatus, during which time she released her 11th album, TTPon April 19.

“To my team, my fellow artists and my group who worked tirelessly during their break to concoct this surprise for you, but especially for the Parisian fans,” she continued. “I’m so grateful that it was you that we were able to show this for the first time because you gave us so much enthusiasm and passion and love.”

That era of the show included “So High School,” a song about her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34. He attended the fourth evening in Paris at the Paris La Défense Arena, where she played it in front of him for the first time on tour, at one point singing, “You know how to play ball, I know Aristotle.” »

THE TTP the set also included “But Daddy, I Love Him”, “Down Bad”, “Fortnight”, “The Littlest Man Ever”, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” and “Who’s Afraid little old me?”

Swift changed her career-spanning setlist to make room for songs from Tortured poetswhich meant removing several fan favorites like “The Archer,” from his album Lover and “Live life” Speak Now.

Swift concluded her social media post with: “I’m so excited to play this for every audience on the tour. See you soon, Stockholm! 🤍”

After Paris, Swift will end the month of May with concerts in Stockholm, Lisbon and Madrid.

Swift will continue her tour in Europe throughout the summer before wrapping up in London in August. She will then return to the other side of the Atlantic for concerts in Toronto and Vancouver before doing other shows in the United States.
