Taylor Swift Won’t Have a 4th of July Party

No one loves celebrating America’s birthday more than Miss Americana herself. But unfortunately, Taylor Swift and her famous girl squad won’t be gathering at her Rhode Island home this year to drink wine and pose together in red, white, and blue bikinis on the lawn.

Why, you ask? Well, Swift is still overseas for the European leg of her international Eras Tour, which includes sold-out shows in Amsterdam on July 4, 5, and 6. But maybe she’ll still celebrate the Fourth of July with some explosive pop and a hot dog after the show, especially if her boyfriend Travis Kelce is in town.

Last year, the pop star revived her iconic Independence Day bash for the first time since 2016, inviting the Haim sisters and Selena Gomez to her Watch Hill home. “Happy Belated Independence Day,” Taylor wrote alongside a slideshow of photos from the party on Instagram at the time, “from your neighborhood indie girls.” She then teased her upcoming tour stop, adding, “See you tonight in Kansas Cityyy.”

Of course, after that, she went on to perform at Arrowhead Stadium, where Kelce was in the audience wearing a friendship bracelet with her phone number on it. He didn’t get to meet Swift at the time, but they eventually connected after the NFL player made Swift “angry” during his New heights podcast.

“It all started when Travis adorably blew me off on his podcast, which I thought was some fucking metal,” Swift shared during her Time Interview Person of the Year in December 2023. “We started dating right after that. So we spent a lot of time together without anyone knowing, which I’m grateful for because we got to know each other.
