Taylor Swift surprises Dublin audience with debut of new song in set

Taylor Swift gave fans a little gift at the Eras Tour in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday night. For the first time, Swift performed “The Albatross” live.

“I wait for (the acoustic set) all night because that’s the part of the show that keeps me going,” she told the sold-out crowd. She then sang the song from “The Tortured Poets Department” before repeating it with “Dancing With Our Hands Tied” from “Reputation.”

The singer-songwriter spends one more night in Dublin before heading to Amsterdam.

A more serious incident occurred during Friday night’s show in Ireland, when dehydrated fans near the front of the stage needed help.

“We need help out there,” Swift said toward the end of her song “Lavender Haze” Friday night in Dublin, Ireland. “I see you got what it takes. Great. Everyone who works in this stadium is incredible.”
