Six months after playing the last concert of the Eras tour, Taylor Swift was finally ready to shake off her interruption of the scene – at least for the length of a catchy song – while she picked up an acoustic guitar and sang “Shake It Off” for an astonished audience in a Nashville club on Tuesday evening.
The apparently quite impromptu performance took place in the Brooklyn Bowl of 1,200 Capace, where fans had gathered to see Kane BrownChase Rice and other country artists perform in a tight university charitable concert nicknamed “Ending & Friends”. The participants had an idea, or a hope, that Swift could be in the public, since his boyfriend, Kelce Traviswas on board as one of the hosts of the charity event. But few imagined that they would be serenade by Swift herself.
His surprise performance occurred at the end of Kane Brown’s set, when he gave the scene to the Superstar Pop. “Do you care if I bring out a really, really, really, really special guest?” He asked the crowd, picking up a jingle stick that he would shake as Swift’s percussionist for the number that followed.
Swift left on stage with a guitar that she had just borrowed from Rice. She said, “You know, the only thing that the tight ends have in common with the musicians of Nashville is that we are all friends, right? So you know, we are up there and we have drinks ” – indicating the balcony section where she had held the courtyard with Kelce, her childhood friend Abigail Anderson Berard and other guests. “And we thought, as” how much could this place become strong? ” TheoreticallyHow strong could the song be strong here? So, I said to myself, I don’t have a guitar, but Chase Rice was like, “you can use mine.”
“We would like to devote this to our favorite players who will play,” she said, laughing on the famous line “Players Gonna Play” by “Shake It Off”, “and these are the tight ends.”
In the middle of the song, she gave a cry to the star colleague whom she had crashed the party, asking: “Honestly, have you ever seen a tambourine play like that? It’s a fantastic work here by Mr. Kane Brown. ”
Brown seemed very happy to make him fly the show, which he joked in an Instagram post he published after the show. “When you think you are the special guest, but you are not,” wrote Brown in a legend to a photo of himself with Swift and Kelce.
As she wrapped the number, Swift offered an indication of the speed with which the performance met, saying: “Are you going to abandon it for this incredible group which has just understood that we were going to play three minutes ago?”
If there was something that was guaranteed, it was that there would be nearly 1,200 high quality videos immediately published on social networks, all capturing the atmosphere in detail.
The concert of advantages is the only public event associated with tight university, which, as a rally, is otherwise limited to less than 100 ends of the NFL which meet in Nashville for meetings, discussions and analyzes each year. He was launched four years ago by George Kittle, the tight end for the 49ers of San Francisco, who later brought Kelce and Greg Olsen to help direct the event.
The day before, Swift had joined Kelce during a private reception reception which was held at the Nashville La Jackson nightclub, followed by the pair that went to the kitchen and the bar on the roof of Jason Aldean.
