Midway through Taylor Swift’s heartfelt speech to a packed Wembley Stadium in London on Friday, the singer interrupted her thoughts to make sure fans at the end of the podium were okay.
“We need help right at the end of the ramp, where they wave to us,” she said on “Red” before her 10-minute song “All Too Well.” “I’ll just wait and see everything is sorted. There you go. You guys are the best. See how quickly this happened. They really care about you here at Wembley Stadium, and they should.”
During Swift’s monologues “Betty” and “Champagne Problems” and in the middle of the song “Willow,” she also asked staff to help fans.
“We need help over there, you see where they’re waving right over there,” Swift said from her ivy-adorned “Evermore” piano.
The Eras Tour star performed the first of his eight concerts at the huge stadium filled with 88,446 screaming fans. In the Swift Sea were her parents, boyfriend Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce and Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlin.

Swift reflected on her first concerts in the City of Dreams.
“It’s so incredibly surreal to finally be bringing the Eras Tour to London, because you’ve been some of the most supportive people in my entire time making music since the whole thing beginning,” she said. “The first show I did, I think I was 17 and I started off playing at King’s College. Then I played at Shepherd’s Bush Empire and from there you just kept on playing me support more and more. The rooms have become bigger and bigger.”
The superstar will perform at Wembley three nights in June and five nights in August.
