Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce “could be perfect for each other,” the Chiefs star’s friend Pat McAfee said – after the pop star released the song “So High School” about her: Two great lovers, it’s good for society

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce “could be perfect for each other,” Travis’ friend Pat McAfee said after the release of her double album “The Tortured Poets Department” and a particularly Travis.

Among the album’s 31 songs, the track “So High School” drew more attention to the couple’s relationship with its apparent references to Travis.

And McAfee used the newfound success as an opportunity to talk about the pair.

‘I am very happy. Because, from the very beginning, I was like, ‘These two could be perfect for each other,'” he said on his eponymous website.Pat McAfee Show.’

McAfee added that Kelce “changed the course of pop culture forever” by obviously inspiring Swift to write about him.

And Pat McAfee said the pair’s relationship was “good for society” on his eponymous show.

He also suggested that Kelce’s position as a tight end — rather than being the face of a franchise as a quarterback — made him well-equipped to be the less famous person in the relationship.

In “So High School,” Swift appears to reference Kelce with lyrics such as “Truth, dare, spin bottles/You know how to play, I know Aristotle.”

Swift also sang, “I want to laugh in the middle of practice/At that impression you made of your dad again,” and also appeared to shout out to Kelce’s old friends, saying, “Touch me while your brothers play Grand Theft Auto.”

“It’s a beautiful thing,” McAfee said of the lyrics, while adding that “two great lovers” was “good for society.”

After the song’s release, Kelce seemed to subtly hint that it was actually about him – with a very revealing social media post from his New Heights podcast.

The New Heights social media account shared a hilarious old clip Friday night of Travis and his older brother Jason doing an impersonation of their father, Ed, who was referenced in the song.

In the clip, the brothers joke about their dad making them eat all their mashed potatoes “with five sticks of butter” when they were kids and telling them to be grateful, with the caption: “These feelings by Papa Kelce are just too good.

“The Alchemy,” the 15th song on “The Tortured Poets Department,” also contains some pretty obvious references to Kelce, particularly in the song’s bridge.

“Good job ’cause they said / There was no chance / Trying to be the best in the league / Where’s the trophy? / He just ran to me,” Swift sings.

Then the chorus kicks in: “Touch/Call the amateurs and kick them off the team/Ditch the clowns, get the crown back, baby, I’m the one to beat/Cause the sign on your heart says that’s it” is always reserved for me / Honestly, who are we to fight chemistry?’

Kelce and Swift have been publicly dating since she attended a Chiefs game against the Bears in September.
