Methodology
In most cases, the price statistics used in these graphs were taken from Amazon using the Keepa historic price tracker tool. For iPhones, prices come from official Apple materials and are based on the basic model of 128 gigabytes of the last offer for each year: the iPhone 14, iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. For the X-Box series, prices came from Best Buy using the PriceTracker tool. If one of these products is on sale at some point, we will not let you know and explain how these price reductions differ from price trends in longer term than prices can cause.
