Tank Tops Are the Chicest Trend of Summer 2024, and You Have to Try It RN

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, people considered vests as objects for superposition, either over or under other clothing. But that was the past, and it is now, and right now vests are taking center stage as standalone tops. Don’t just take my word for it; Celebrities around the world also wear vests, including Katy Perry, Camila Cabello and Whitney Port.

There are many different types of vests on the market, from backless vests perfect for a night out on the town to button-down vests suitable for any occasion. Personally, I like the ones that transition easily from day to night. You can wear them to the office without being too “casual”, while still looking dressed up enough for drinks with friends after work if the opportunity presents itself.

Just because people are starting to wear cardigans as tops now that it’s warm out doesn’t mean you can’t also layer them. When it comes to price per outfit, vests are a great option because in winter you can pair them with turtlenecks and jackets, and in summer you can wear them alone, creating completely different looks.
