A woman is missing after her car broke down on a rural Victoria road.
Samantha, whose last name has not been released, was traveling on Princes Highway when her gray Kia Sportage broke down in Tamboon at 8.15am on Friday.
It is believed a passerby stopped to help the 33-year-old Point Cook woman, and she has not been seen since.
There are serious concerns for Samantha’s well-being due to a health issue.
Samantha, whose last name has not been released, was traveling on Princes Highway when her gray Kia Sportage broke down in Tamboon at 8.15am on Friday.
She was last seen wearing a blue/gray fleece top, jeans and sneakers.
Investigators believe Samantha was trying to get to Melbourne and may have been hitchhiking along the Princes Highway.
Victoria Police confirmed on Sunday that a search was currently underway in Tamboon with the assistance of the SES.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
