Sunday is shaping up to be a key day in the battle for a T20 World Cup semi-final place with England and the West Indies desperate for wins to give themselves a chance of qualifying for the last four.

Phil proves he’s worth his salt
England have work to do to secure a place in the last four and we can expect them to roll up their sleeves and dispose of the USA with minimal fuss, just like West Indies did with their nine-wicket victory being the surprise package of the tournament. .
If that happens, there’s a good chance that Phil Salt will be at the heart of what Buttler’s team manages to put together.
After an excellent Indian Premier League, he has collected 158 runs in six matches and, as an opener, this should be the kind of match in which he leads the charge, just like he did when he scored 87 runs unbeaten in 47 balls against the Windies.
Archer can be counted on to find targets
England speedster Jofra Archer is back at the top of his game and he should benefit from the extra bounce that the Barbados pitch is likely to offer him.
His raw pace can cause all sorts of problems for the American order and he should be expected to improve on his record by nine wickets in six matches, a tally which has taken him to the top of the England rankings.
There could be an opportunity to knock down the American tail in a match for which England are hot favorites and it would be a surprise if Archer did not make a significant contribution at Kensington Oval.
De Kock back to his best
The match in the early hours of Monday morning between the West Indies and South Africa looks set to be much closer, with the co-hosts looking to capitalize on their blitz against the Americans, while the Proteas secured a victory which boosts morale. England.
It seems like a tough match to call, but one of the players who has upped his game at the Super 8 Stadium is Proteas opener Quinton de Kock.
