Sydney Sweeney joined the director Paul Feig and his colleague The maid Stars at Cinemacon to share the first tense images.
Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar also went on stage for the presentation of Lionsgate on Tuesday to promote the psychological thriller and reveal his trailer, which has not yet been publicly shared. Struck in theaters on Christmas Day, the film has a script by Rebecca Sonneshine which adapts the best -selling novel of 2022 by the author Freida McFadden.
“Tension and fear and comedy are so wrapped,” said Feig on the reason why he was attracted to a thriller despite his known for films with laughter. “It was a dream come true.”
Sweeney added that she was a big fan of the source equipment. “I am a big book lover – I love reading books,” said the star. “I couldn’t put it down. I ended up reading the three in a week. ” She added the film that recently finished: “There are characters who are defective and they are messy.”
Seyfried stressed how much she liked to film the project and noted: “It will go to theaters – Thank God.”
For his part, Sklenar said: “We have taken everything at a completely different level. Andrew is quite disturbed. It is a little more a force than in the book, I would say.”
The maid Focus on Millie (Sweeney), who won a room for a chambermaid to a rich couple Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew (Sklenar) before learning that the pair hides dangerous secrets.
Producers include Todd Lieberman for hidden photos, alongside Feig and Laura Fischer for Feigco. Executive producers are Sweeney, Seyfried, McFadden and Alex Young.

Cinemacon is the annual event for Hollywood exhibitors and studios which take place this year from March 31 to April 3. It is presented by Cinema United (formerly the National Association of theater owners).
