Switzerland vs Germany LIVE commentary: Kick-off time, score, lineups and Euro 2024 match preview as hosts look to secure top spot

Germany will hope to continue their 100% record at Euro 2024 this evening when they take on Switzerland.

The hosts have shown their quality in their two matches so far in Group A, beating Scotland 5-1 and then Hungary 2-0.

Julian Nagelmann’s side have already booked their place in the round of 16 at their home tournament, but they will want to make it three wins out of three.

A point would ensure them first place, but Switzerland will do everything possible for a victory which could allow them to leapfrog the Germans.

Switzerland vs Germany: what did we say?

Germany boss Nagelsmann has told fans not to expect any major changes as he focuses on top spot.

“First place is important. We want to win all our matches,” he said.

“I think it’s important to have as many players from the starting XI on the pitch to keep us in rhythm.

“Don’t expect seven changes to the team. I can rule it out now.”
