Susan Sarandon’s Daughter Trolls Critics, Calling Them ‘Scandalized’ By Her Cleavage On Her Wedding Day

Eva Amurri has some choice words for those “scandalized” by her wedding dress.

The lifestyle blogger and actress was all smiles in photos from her intimate ceremony Saturday in upstate New York, but also faced criticism on social media for choosing a dress that showed off her cleavage.

Now Amurri, whose mother Susan Sarandon attended the wedding, is not buying it.

Amurri shared several images of herself and husband Ian Hock in a since-deleted Instagram story, dismissing “anyone who is outraged that my boobs aren’t ‘put away,'” People reported.

She reportedly wrote in a follow-up post, which was clearly centered on her chest: “Feel free to screenshot for later.”

Amurri told People she “wanted to feel sexy but elegant” and chose the corseted dress because it was “ultra feminine without being too baggy.”

The wedding, which had just 40 guests, included Amurri’s three young children from her previous marriage to former footballer Kyle Martino: Marlow, 9; Major, 7; and Mateo, 4.

Amurri finalized her divorce from Martino in 2020 after nearly nine years of marriage. She first confirmed she was dating Hock, a professional chef, on her blog “Happily Eva After” in early 2021 — and announced in February 2023 that he had proposed to her in Paris.

Although their wedding day was affected by rain and social media trolling, Amurri still felt the wedding was magical.

“We wanted to write our own love letters to read as vows, which was very special to us,” she told People. “We also didn’t have a bridal party other than the kids, and it was perfect. Major walked me down the aisle, which was an experience I’ll never forget.”
