Terrifying surveillance video captured the moment several armed men robbed a West Town bar and robbed several fleeing patrons.
Declan Morgan, owner of the Irish Nobleman Pub, 1367 W Erie St., was preparing to close his doors around 1:45 a.m. Saturday when three armed robbers entered the establishment. One of the armed men kept watch, while another robbed customers at gunpoint and another hit the cash register, the bar owner said.
As soon as the robbers left, someone immediately called 911. Morgan, meanwhile, walked out the back door and moments later the gunmen started shooting.
“They came out and opened fire on me and started shooting. They shot at my vehicle here and at my vehicle across the street… then they ran away,” he said. he declares.
Fortunately, no one got hurt.
Police were investigating Saturday evening, but no one was in custody.
