Surprising things of a cruise reserved for adults with virgin trips

I made my first cruise reserved for adults in August 2023 with virgin virgin trips luxury virchies.
The ship was full of surprises, from a tattoo lounge to a playground for adults.
The biggest surprise of my cruise reserved for adults was that it made me feel again like a child.

After my first cruise in 2022, I didn’t think the holiday style was for me.

Aboard the wonder of the Royal Caribbean seas, many offers were intended for children, slides to splash. With children who run by shouting on the pool deck, it was difficult to relax. At the end of the trip, I was ready to completely abandon the cruise.

Then, I heard of Virgin Voyages, a luxury cruise driving and reserved for adults who have sails for the first time in 2021. I thought that navigation on a high -end ship without children could change my opinion on the cruise, so I reserved a Mediterranean cruise of seven nights in August 2023 on Virgin Virgin Voyages Ship of Lady. I stayed in a cabin with a balcony, and the starting rate was $ 5,910, although Business Insider received a media rate for a week.

My trip was much better than my first cruise. I sailed in the peaceful luxury of Spain in Italy and France, and the ship was full of surprises that I have never seen coming.

The first thing that struck me was the attractive aesthetic of the ship.

The ship was more elegant than I could have imagined. Multicolored lighting, iridescent panels associated with daring works of art, and modern furniture gave it a futuristic feeling. Virgin’s bright red pops were everywhere, from furniture to accent pieces.

Colorful brilliants, pink and purple with blue and green, lit the bridges and elevators. I felt like I was surrounded by rainbow. Just wandering the ship has renewed my sense of childish wonder, but no child was in sight.

My cabin was more spacious than what I expected.

I did not expect my 225 square feet cabin to feel spacious, but versatile furniture and intelligent storage hacks left me enough space to stretch and move.

The Queen-Size bed turned into a sofa during the day, an Ottoman was hidden under the office instead of a chair, and the bedside table was thin and light, which facilitates the move when it was not used.

The balcony had an extra table, two chairs and a large hammock. Two years later, I still think of the peaceful that I felt wrapped in this hammock in the middle of the ocean.

I did not expect to find a playground on a ship for adults.

The last thing I expected to find on a cruise ship reserved for adults was a playground. But it was not just any playground – everything was the size of a jumbo, from the bases of fire to the swings. It was clearly built for adults.

The cruising ship’s playground was surrounded by fun activities, such as a set of human-sized chess, a boxing ring and a net suspended above a view of the ocean.

If there had been children around, I would not have felt at ease to take up space on this playground. However, surrounded by adults only, I felt free to take advantage of these activities.

Going to swings and playing competitive games made me feel again like a child. Just play my state of mind in a way that I did not expect, and I think all adults could use it on vacation.

There was also no lack of play inside.

When I wanted to beat the heat, I went inside on the seven bridge, where I found a retro -style arcade and a playroom full of board games, puzzles and large tables to play.

The selection of the board game was nostalgic for me. I spotted childhood favorites such as mouse trap, index and skull.

I never thought of seeing a tattoo lounge on a cruise ship.

Virgin trips

By wandering in the interior shopping strip on the Six bridge, I stopped in my footsteps when I spotted Squid ink, a tattoo lounge. Virgin Voyages says it is the very first cruise line to offer tattooing on board. According to cruising equipment, the price of the tattoo starts at around $ 150.

I love being tattooed, so I was delighted by the shop, but I resisted the urge to get one on this trip.

I expected to see many day drinkers on board, but the municipal bridges were calm during the day.

During my first cruise, I spotted many people to drink and party throughout the day, so I expected to see even more during a cruise reserved for adults. But the municipal bridges were calm during the day. It was easy to relax by the swimming pools – one had music playing, while the other was silent.

I spoke to a bartender of my different experiences, and they said that Mediterranean cruisers tend to be less interested in partying than the Caribbean Crisers.

My first cruise reserved for adults made me feel again like a child. It was the greatest surprise of all.

On a luxury ship without children, I expected to enjoy my cruise reserved for adults more than my first cruise. But I did not expect the Virgin Voyages cruise to make me feel like a child myself.

Play for hours surrounded by rainbow and eat what I wanted without thinking about money allowed me to detach yourself in a way that I had not had for more than a decade.

I would certainly sail with virgin trips, and maybe next time, I would add ink to my arm.
