Donald Trump’s inauguration attracted several celebrities beyond the list of performances announced before the event.
At Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States on Monday, several influential names participated in the crowd that supported the president during his campaign.
The first is podcaster Joe Rogan, whose three-hour interview with Trump, and his subsequent endorsement, was seen by some as being rather pivotal in building support among young men and undecided voters. Rogan was given one of the select seats in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol after the ceremony was moved indoors due to freezing temperatures and its capacity was significantly reduced.
Rogan also posted a photo – likely from the day before – with Trump and Dana White, who were also present at the inauguration. The UFC CEO is a longtime Trump supporter and spoke at the Republican National Convention this year.
Another celebrity seen in the crowd was YouTubers, fighters and longtime Trump supporters Logan and Jake Paul.

The duo arrived with a former MMA fighter and Truck stop remake star Conor McGregor. McGregor’s inclusion is unexpected as McGregor has been pushing for a boxing fight with Logan Paul.
Another influential podcaster and comedian, Theo Von, was also in attendance. Like Rogan, Von interviewed Trump during the campaign. NHL legend Wayne Gretzky was also in attendance.
Another celebrity in attendance: Longtime Trump supporter and reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner, who posted on X: “Just arrived in Washington DC to support our 47th POTUS! This is my second time at its grand opening and the excitement, energy, buzz and joy in town is incredible! It’s electric! Even more than in 2017!!!”
One surprising name that made waves this weekend was Snoop Dogg, who headlined the Crypto Ball event in Washington DC. The event was billed as a “celebratory setting to honor… America’s first “crypto president,” President-elect Donald J. Trump. The performance drew scorn from some in the media and on social media, with one calling the rapper’s performance “culturally embarrassing and disrespectful.” In a 2016 video that resurfaced, Snoop Dogg wondered which artist was going to be the first to perform for Trump at his first inauguration and said he would “roast” whoever did it. But in 2021, Snoop Dogg thanked Trump for pardoning Michael “Harry O” Harris, who helped found Death Row Records.
As expected, country star Carrie Underwood sang “America The Beautiful” at the inauguration. Underwood overcame an awkward moment where the backing music wasn’t playing and instead performed an a cappella rendition. “If you know the lyrics, help me out here,” Underwood said, before launching into the song:
