37 MPs from Shiv Sena, who are camping in Guwahati, have written to the Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly, declaring Eknath Shinde as their leader in the House

The Eknath Shinde camp is expected to accommodate more than 50 Shiv Sena MPs as more lawmakers are expected to arrive in Assam on Friday, where others will stay in a hotel in Guwahati.
Press Agency ANI quoted his sources as saying that the strength of Shiv Sena deputies in Shinde camp is expected to exceed 50 as more deputies are likely to arrive in Guwahati today.
Meanwhile, NDTV report today quoted Shinde as saying he currently has the support of 50 MPs of which 40 are from Shiv Sena.
“Those who believe in our role will join us. We want to advance Balasaheb’s ideology, those who like him will come,” the report quoted Shinde as saying.
On Thursday evening, 37 Shiv Sena MPs who camp in Guwahati wrote to the Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Assembly, saying Eknath Shinde remains their leader in the House.
