GRAMMYS 2025: The red carpet is watching the largest night of music
On Sunday, some of the biggest names in music were honored during the Grammys 2025.
Beyoncé won the Grammy Award for the album of the year for “Cowboy Carter” and Chappell Roan won the Grammy for the best new artist. Kendrick Lamar hung both the record for the year and the song of the year for his song “Not like Us”.
The Grammys took place almost a month after the start of the Los Angeles forest fires, which devastated the region and left at least 29 dead. Telediffusion was “redesigned to collect funds to support forest fire efforts and help music professionals affected by Los Angeles forest fires”, with funds collected during the show to support Music professionals and rescue efforts against Los Angeles forest fires.
Towards the end of the show, Trevor Noah, who returned this year as a host for the fifth consecutive year, announced that home viewers had already raised $ 7 million.
The night was filled with epic performances of artists like Charli XCX, Shakira, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter and more. A moving musical tribute was also played to honor the legend of music at the end of the Quincy Jones music.
