Strictly Come Dancing: the semi-final – live | Television

Key events

If you’re watching the Masterchef finale, can’t you spoil the result below? Means people can follow and watch Masterchef later. Your!

Tonight is Strictly Come Bingo – it’s a stand up special!

I invent a board game called “Strictly Standing”, which has only one rule – if one of the judges stands up at the end of the dance or giving their verdict, you must stand too. If you want to play the adult version, you have to keep drinking (sips, obvs) until they sit down.

Heidi’s hunches – too close to call!

Looking at the list of dances tonight, we have three Paso Dobles and two Waltzes. So now we know the answer to ‘what’s the dance equivalent of a Bounty and a Milky Way in a box of Celebrations?’

Tomorrow’s release could be anyone, frankly. Dance history says that tonight’s battle for a spot in the finals is between Molly and Fleur, but if the two end up at the top of the leaderboard (which is infinitely possible), it could easily be two of the others. Everyone is so close now, and I have no idea how tonight is going to pan out. EXCITING.

Good evening everyone and welcome to this week’s Strictly Come Dancing liveblog! It’s a surprise Sunday semi-final on a school night – this time next week we’ll be preparing for the grand final, which means it’s almost Christmas. For the past two days I have been to Bath Christmas Market with my mum, ice skating with my daughter and a snowy walk in Wiltshire this morning so I feel like to have been warm and wrapped in garlands.

This week we’ll tackle the big questions – can Molly survive another dance party? What will Will do in his choice of couple? Will the two extra days of rehearsals this week make a difference to the quality of this week’s TWO DANCES? It doesn’t really matter, as traditionally this week is when the wild overscore reaches a scintillating climax. Although other than Craig, I’m not really sure what the judges can do from here.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the proceedings here starting at 7:15 p.m., and would love if you could scatter some glitter in the comments box below. See you soon!
