The latest season of “Stranger Things” has seen a significant update in its release schedule.
Netflix’s legendary sci-fi/paranormal series is arguably the streaming giant’s biggest hit since it first premiered in 2016.
Even though I wasn’t alive in the 1980s, the nostalgic vibe appeals to even a guy like me, and I’m sure that’s true for many other people.
The series has been exceptional since its first episode, and now it’s time to find out how it will all end.
The fifth and final season will arrive in 2025, and it will likely start dropping episodes at some point in May or June, if I had to offer an educated guess.
Well, that release window is starting to take shape thanks to an announcement that went unnoticed a few days before Christmas. I guess that’s why no one paid attention to it. People were busy with family and friends, as they should be.
While people were busy preparing for Christmas, the show’s official X account announced that production on the final season had wrapped and shared 12 photos from the final episodes.
You can check out all the photos and the announcement below. It’s pretty cool, and be sure to let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
With production wrapping up in late 2024, this seems to indicate that my projected timeline is probably correct.
Additionally, season four premiered in May 2022 and then released two more episodes on July 1, 2022. I expect something very similar this time around.
The only season that did not air in May during the summer months was season two, which premiered in October. There’s no plan, Netflix is making viewers wait until October for the final season. This absolutely will not happen.
What are your predictions for the end of the series? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.comand let’s get ready for one last ride with the whole gang.
