Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress at the center of Donald Trump’s secret trial, testified Tuesday against the former president. Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, recounted details of her alleged sexual relationship with Trump. His testimony was met with muttered profanities from the former president. At one point, Judge Juan Merchan called Trump’s lawyer to warn him that Trump’s swearing was audible and could be intimidating.
Trump is charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal a $130,000 payment to Daniels in 2016 so she would keep quiet about what she says happened between them.
