Roethlisberger declined to comment after Daniels published his book in 2018.

“You have told me and the Steelers that you are committed to making better decisions,” Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to the Steelers QB.

Five years after those allegations, Daniels shed more light on her encounter with Roethlisberger, recalling trying on his Super Bowl ring after Trump introduced them.

Roethlisberger spent another 11 years with the Steelers, before retiring in 2021 as one of the most prolific passers in NFL history with the fifth-highest passing yards of all time (64,088).

His two Super Bowl triumphs in Pittsburgh came during the 2005 and 2008 seasons.
