Only a few days after having managed to defend the NXT female championship against Jordynne Grace Battlefield In Tampa, in Florida, Stephanie Vaquer was reserved for the episode of NXT Television this week against Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence. This after Jayne slapped it hard on the face behind the scenes to install things.
They teased very early as Fallon Henley could light his stablemate, but when the time comes, she was there to give a large assist while the referee was distracted. It opened the door to Jayne, who struck the elbow to win the title and shock everyone in the building:
Listen to this crowd’s reaction. Look at the shock on Mike Rome’s face before announcing Jayne as winner and the new female champion NXT.
Absolutely no one saw this coming.
But, no different from Ricky Saints earlier in the evening, this will obviously lead to speculations that a movement of the map is in order. Or, perhaps in this case, a passage to the main list.
