The episode of NXT Television in Orlando started with Stephanie Vaquer by joining the Director General Ava in the ring for a special announcement. In fact, she abandoned one of her two championships.
It’s true, she abandoned the North American title. This took place, by Ava, after the two engaged in the conversation and came to the conclusion that the title deserves its own shine and that it cannot do justice.
Ava quickly announced that the qualifiers would start tonight and end up leading to a scale match at the next Stand and deliver Premium Live event on April 19 in Las Vegas, the title to be won.
Vaquer said that she would only accept that if she could choose her opponent for the NXT championship during this same show. Ava accepted it, and Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker quickly said they wanted to be the challenger.
Anyway, we will have a new champion later this month, without Vaquer having ever lost the title.
