After having known what the head coach Dan Quinn called “the best Friday we have had this season”, the Washington commanders are ready to face the Eagles of Philadelphia in the NFC championship.
And they do it with a globally impeccable health assessment.
Several key players appearing in the Washington injury report this season, including Bobby Wagner, Frankie Luvu and Zach Ertz, will be available on Sunday when commanders will launch their biggest match for more than three decades at Lincoln Financial Field. Sam Cosmi, who, according to Quinn, underwent an LCA injury during the division round against the Strait Lions, is the only excluded player.
Commanders will need all possible advantages against Eagles, which have not lost since the two teams met at the Northwest Stadium during the 16th week. Saquon Barkley has since exceeded the 2,000 yards mark, and he was just as dominant in the match. SERITS Elimatory with 324 yards out of 51 attempts with two touchdowns.
Clelin Ferrell appeared on the injury report due to a knee injury, but will be available and will run a defensive front responsible for closing the race corridors. They managed to do this effectively in the second half of the victory of week 16. Barkley had another 150 yards in 29 races, but a third of this amount was obtained on a touch of 68 yards. After this game, Barkley was limited to only 41 yards in total.
In attack, commanders will have their best options for a close winger in Zach Ertz (Côte) and John Bates (shoulder). Ertz was one of the best commanders’ best weapons this season, since it is second in the team for targets, receptions, yards and touched behind Terry McLaurin. Bates has been a reliable blocker and will help create corridors against a defense of the Eagles who only gave in 104 yards per game.
Tyler Biadasz and Brandon Coleman were also on the injury report, but they should play on Sunday. Commanders, however, have greater problems with their offensive line. They must find a viable replacement for Cosmi and planned to launch Trent Scott, who replaced Cosmi against the Lions, at the right guard.
Daron Payne, who appeared on the injury report due to a knee injury and a finger, is questionable for Sunday’s match. The defensive winger Javontae Jean-Baptiste (shoulder) and the quarter-rear Jeff Driskel (illness) will also be questionable.
