Star Wars: Acolyte Character Posters Shed More Light on His Wookiee Jedi and Much More

Star Wars: The Acolyte is almost here and Lucasfilm has helped the wait by sharing five character posters and new details for Jedi Master Sol, Jedi Master Indara, Padawan Jecki Lon, Mae and Jedi Master Wookiee Kelnacca.

You can check out all of the posters from StarWars.com in the slideshow below or further down in the article, and when you do, you’ll learn more about these new characters from the High Republic era that we’ll all be getting to know on June 4 for The Premiere of two episodes of Acolyte on Disney+.

Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae)

Master Sol is a wise and highly respected Jedi Master, strong in the ways of the Force. Steady and loyal, Sol has a deep sense of compassion and will defend those who cannot defend themselves. He is a powerful warrior with intense emotions that he uses his Jedi training to balance.

Jedi Master Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss)

Master Indara is a Jedi Master with great physical and mental skills. She rigorously controls her Force abilities, exuding a sense of command and authority just by her presence. Although she doesn’t look for a fight, she is skilled enough to engage on her own terms.

Mae(Amandla Stenberg)

A mysterious young woman with a tragic past, Mae finds herself drawn into a sinister mystery that places her at the center of conflict in an unexpected way. She is determined to get revenge on those who wronged her, and nothing can stop Mae in her quest.

Jedi Master Wookiee Kelnacca (Joonas Suotamo)

A Wookiee Jedi Master, Kelnacca has sequestered himself in the tangled jungles of Khofar. He is a loner who leads a solitary life.

Jecki Lon (Dafne Keen)

A competent and studious Padawan student, Jecki Lon shows great promise in her journey to becoming a Jedi Knight. Master Sol’s apprentice padawan is young, but she projects calm and conducts herself with maturity.

As previously mentioned, Star Wars: The Sidekick takes place during the High Republic era, which takes place approximately 100 years before the events of The Phantom Menace. According to StarWars.com, The Acolyte “follows an investigation into a series of shocking crimes that pits a respected Jedi Master against a dangerous warrior from his past.”
