Star of Hit HBO Series says that doctors told him that he was dying of complications from the childhood accident

The actor Adam Devine, who played in successful television programs such as HBO’s “right precious stones” and ABC’s “modern family”, said recently by doctors whom he was dying after thinking that he could have a rare illness.

Devine, 41, made the comments on Wednesday during an appearance on the podcast “in depth with Graham Bensinger”, reports People. He said he was still dealing with health problems after being almost killed at the age of 11 when he was struck by a cement truck.

Entertainment Weekly reports that guesses that the last three years have been particularly difficult because he has felt spasms and intense pain. He also said he was losing mobility.

Devine said doctors recently thought that he could have a rare disease and that he could kill him within six years, reports People.

“For a while, they told me that I was dying. Literally in this last year, they told me that,” said guess. “They told me that I had this disease called the steep person syndrome. And it is at this moment that your muscles tighten if tight that you can no longer walk. You can no longer move, so your heart will stop beating, because your heart is a muscle and it becomes too tight to beat and then you will die.”

However, Devine said he had learned later that he did not have the disease and that his health problems are linked to his accident as a child. He also said he thought that an intense training regime could have contributed, E! Reports.

“I think I became so tight,” he said. “My body has all these things that are a little bancant and a little wrong with that, which I have sort of broken.”

Devine also appeared in the films “Pitch Perfect”.
