Stanford scientists discover an intriguing dinner hack that can help you keep you slim

Eating eggs and vegetables before fries could help you stay thin, research by American scientists suggest.

Experts from the University of Stanford have tested a dose of fiber, protein or fat before carbohydrates could reduce or delay peaks in blood sugar.

Such points have been linked to obesity, because fluctuating blood sugar makes you more likely to suffer from hunger and therefore nibble on calorific foods between meals.

But the experts found that this process could be interrupted by changing not what people eat, but in what order.

In experience, scientists took 55 volunteers, about half of whom had signs of pre-diabetes, a precursor of type 2 diabetes This implies higher blood sugar than blood sugar.

They then gave each participant a meal made up of rice on three separate occasions while they wore devices to measure blood sugar levels called continuous glucose monitors.

Ten minutes before each meal, the participants receive an additional fiber, proteins in the form of hard egg whites or dairy fat of the crème fraîche.

By analyzing the results, they found dietary fibers or the egg protein first lowered the peak of blood sugar from dense energy rice.

Eating fat before carbohydrates has not lowered the point of blood sugar but delayed it to occur.

This suggests that eating fiber -rich foods like vegetables, and proteins like eggs before entering carbohydrates could prevent blood sugar that leads to an accident causing hunger.

Professor Michael Snyder, an expert in genetics author of the study, said that guests should try to eat their meals in a specific order.

“Eating carbohydrates later in a meal is still a good idea, even if it has not yet been settled if it is better to eat proteins, fats or fibers before carbohydrates,” he said.

“Eat your salad or burger before your fries.”

The researchers also noted that the impact of fibers, proteins and fats on blood sugar was less significant in participants with signs of pre-diabetes.

The authors, who published their results in the journal Nature Medicinesaid it was an area that needed additional research.

The carbohydrates, a group that includes rice, potatoes, bread and pasta, are dense energy foods that are quickly converted into sugar in our blood, giving us the resources we need to work.

The NHS claims that carbohydrates should represent approximately a third of a person’s daily diet.

Managers urge people to eat whole grain varieties such as brown bread or potatoes with the skin, because these are delivered with higher levels of fibers and nutrients, and can slow down the release of sugar in our blood circulation, maintaining fullness.

Nearly 6 million British suffer from diabetes, 90% of which are type 2, but charitable organisms estimate that 1.2 million live with unheeded disease.

While at the national level, about eight percent of the population of England has the disease, this increases More than one in 10 people in certain regions of the country.

Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body does not make enough insulin or insulin it does does not work properly. Insulin is an essential hormone to control blood sugar.

Having high blood sugar over time can cause heart attacks and strokes, as well as problems with eyes, kidneys and feet.

People with affected may need to revise their diet, take daily drugs and do regular checks.

The symptoms of the condition, which is diagnosed with a blood test, include excessive thirst, fatigue and the need to urinate more often. But many people have no sign.
