In order not to be spread out by all Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation has decided to steal part of this attention in the form of a major announcement fueled by nostalgia: Final fantasy tacticS gets a remake and it arrives in September.
Tactics Final Fantasy: The Ivalice Chronicles will bring the players back at a time when Final Fantasy was not an action RPG or even an RPG in turn but an isometric strategy game. Take control of Ramza Beoulve while he is fighting in the lion war and build an army of powerful fighters using the game’s use system. But don’t expect the standard RPG classes, like Fighter, Black Mage or Summoner. Tactics Final Fantasy Has a host of unique, often arcanic and without sight types of jobs, such as the geomance, the chemist and the oracle. For this new edition, players will be able to choose between the classic version of the PlayStation Original 1998 game or an improved version with a fully expressed dialogue and other quality of life improvements.
The original Tactics Final Fantasy was released in the United States in 1998 and is considered by some as the best game in Final Fantasy artwork. I have never played the game, but I heard stories of its legendary scenario and its completely exploded job classes, such as the Arithmatician (seriously). And because of Final Fantasy The story of 30 years of franchise, there are more recent and younger fans who probably did not know that this game existed before today. I can’t wait to discover what it is when when Tactics Final Fantasy: The Ivalice Chronicles Launches September 30.
