Jadon Sancho has struggled since signing for Manchester United but now seems to be finding his feet in the Premier League.

The former Borussia Dortmund star has arguably had the best week of his Red Devils career so far after finding the net in back-to-back games against Villarreal and Chelsea.

Sancho is starting to love life at Man United now

He cost the Red Devils £ 73million in the summer transfer window and due to the form he showed during his time in Germany, expectations for the 21-year-old were high.

The Man United winger now appears to be growing in his role at Old Trafford and the club’s former assistant coach René Meulensteen is happy to see his progress.

“A lot of players who come into the big clubs in the Premier League and especially with United with that extra pressure and some players they’ve started running,” the 57-year-old Dutchman told talkSPORT Breakfast.

“With Jadon it was a little different, you have to start and when United weren’t playing at their best, it’s even more pressure.

“It’s all about confidence and he scored that incredible goal against Villarreal.

“Yesterday was him, the pace, the skill, a bit of disguise, an excellent clinical finish and that gives him a huge boost.

“That’s what these young players need, they need a boost and confidence because that’s what they thrive on, so thrilled for him.”
