Fabinho and Alisson are expected to miss Liverpool’s clash with Watford on Saturday, the Reds midfielder said.
The Brazilian duo face Uruguay in the early hours of Friday morning at 1.30am UK time, just 35 hours before the Premier League game, which is broadcast live on talkSPORT.
Fabinho also revealed that Liverpool plan to send him and Alisson directly to Spain to self-quarantine ahead of the Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
The midfielder said: “I think this first game against Watford will be very difficult for us, I don’t think we will play. Neither Alisson nor myself.
“The game against Uruguay will take place on Friday night there (in the UK) and the game against Watford will take place at half past twelve.
“With all that that entails, the travel, I don’t know how much time we’ll have between one game and the next.
“I don’t think we will play. We will also be in quarantine, but the club are still studying whether it is better to go directly to Spain to play against Atletico Madrid and quarantine there, without staying in a hotel in England.
Liverpool were sweating over the fitness of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota, who played no part in the international break for England and Portugal respectively.
But Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the pair, who were treating injuries, should be in good shape for the game against the Hornets.
However, the Vicarage Road shock is expected to come too soon for Thiago Alcantara, who continues to recover from a calf injury.
