Spencer Pratt And Heidi Montag are rebuilding after losing their home in the Los Angeles fires.

The 41-year-old TV personality got candid in an interview with Variety about how much money is his 38 year old wife’s album Superficial made amid a viral effort among fans to promote it and help their families, and how much they were making from it TikTok before it was banned in the United States.

“I have no idea how much money (the music made). I don’t know if it comes in checks or when, but everyone keeps telling me: don’t expect money. I’m most excited about the energy and opportunities that come with it. I don’t think these streams and all these graphics (make money),” he said.

“From what people tell me, the music business is about touring, merchandise, everything that goes with it; that’s how artists make money, unless you’re doing billions of streams, which I’m still aggressively (pushing). This isn’t happening yet! I’m optimistic because it’s really the only way to get through all of this,” he continued.

“I made about $4,000 on TikTok this week, but on TikTok Live, where people can just donate directly to me, I think maybe $20,000. So it’s phenomenal and life-changing. That’s the power of individual supporters, people who root for you and support you,” he continued. “And it’s most powerful when you don’t need to rely on advertising, AI and algorithms when only humans just want to give. It’s incredible and incredible.

He added that once he has access to his Pratt Daddy offices in Palisades, he will begin shipping new Superficial shirts, and there were about 5,000 orders.

He also said he was open to a show about rebuilding with his family.

“I wish we had started filming already because it’s so raw and so real. We’re connected to many people whose stories aren’t heard, as well as all the small businesses we’re a part of. This would be a great opportunity to document it,” he said.

“We already do it on social media, so I’d like to give my thumb a rest and have a bigger camera to do it with while I deal with emails and things that come in.”

“We are so grateful. There will always be negative trolls and people who try to break you, but there are so many more people who have truly supported our family and want us to succeed. I also understand how lucky we are to have this, and I look forward to the future and being in a position where I can help other people,” he continued.
