SpaceX is preparing for its next launch of Falcon 9 rocket, which will add 28 other Starlink V2 mini satellites to its megaconstellation in low terrestrial orbit.
The Starlink 11-17 mission will fly on a trajectory to the southeast at the start of the Vandenberg space base. Takeoff from the Space Launch Complex 4 East is scheduled at 8:54 p.m. PDT (11:54 p.m. EDT / 0354 UTC).
SpaceFlight Now will have a live blanket about 30 minutes before takeoff.

SpaceX will launch this mission using the Booster Falcon 9 bearing the tail number B1071. This is the second most used booster and it will be its 29th flight.
Its previous missions include the NASA swot, five missions for the National Recognition Office and four carpooling missions (three transport and a bandwag).
Almost 8.5 minutes after takeoff, the B1071 will aim for an autonomous landing on the drone, “of course, I still love you”. In case of success, it will be the 156th landing on this ship and the 516th auxiliary landing to date.
