SpaceX Starship Flight 8 loses control, can fall from space

• The spacecraft of SpaceX has become uncontrollable and fell out of contact just when it reached space on Thursday.
• Starship was supposed to deploy Mock Starlink satellites and test its structural limits during the start of the school year.
• We do not yet know where debris could fall or to what extent this incident will return the plans of Elon Musk.

The spacecraft of SpaceX lost control and started turning wildly just when it reached space Thursday, taking the biggest ambitions from Elon Musk one step back.

“Unfortunately, it seems that we have lost control of the attitude on the ship,” said Kate Tice, webdict animator and the main director of quality systems engineering at SpaceX, after the ship began to drive visibly on the Livestream X of SpaceX.

Starship was only about 20 seconds to cut its engines, which is an important step that it has taken several flights and is essentially the last step to embark on space.

“We have lost contact with the ship,” said Dan Huot, the other webcast, Spacex host.

Some of the ships on the ship went out early before it started to turn, said Huot.

“We have more to learn more about this vehicle,” said Huot.

It is not yet clear what happened, that the ship has exploded, or where its debris could fall.

“We have a practice on this subject now,” said Huot. “We have a lot of measures in place like areas of debris-response where we coordinate very closely with the control of air traffic. We have a lot of measures before launching a rocket to make sure that we keep the public in safety. Those who have worked the last time and they are actively at work at the moment.”

The incident occurs only a month after the explosion of a spacecraft and pleased huge pieces of debris in the Caribbean, which diverted the Federal Aviation Administration in the region and trigger an investigation.

SpaceX has upgrades to avoid fuel leaks and fire in the “attic zone” of the ship which he identified as the cause of the explosion. The company obtained a FAA re -use and stole again on Thursday, to lose starship again.

The future of SpaceX and the space industry as a whole is at stake.

The heavy Starship -Super launch system – composed of boost booster and Starship Rocket with a higher stage of a lower stadium – promises to be the largest, most powerful and most reusable orbital orbital fully reusable rocket on earth.

Its prowess could help reduce the cost of space flight by an order of magnitude, but no soon if SpaceX cannot keep starship in one room.

These events were all promising for SpaceX’s plans to recover and reuse Starship and the heavy super booster. SpaceX had hoped that Thursday’s flight is going further.

The flight had two main goals: deploy its first payload of simulated starlink satellites in space and carry out experiences in the rejection and descent of starship on earth. He never had the opportunity.

The flight was intended to test the limits of the Starship structure on its return to earth, some of its protective tiles withdrawn from vulnerable areas for constraint tests. On the other hand, for the ascent to the space, SpaceX had upgrades to strengthen Starship.

Musk founded the company in 2002 in order to bring humans to Mars. Starship is the vehicle that is supposed to get there.

Musk said that in addition to transporting astronauts and materials on the moon and carrying out a quick point transport on Earth, Starship could transport 1 million people on Mars, as well as all the cargoes necessary to build a city there.
