Southwest Airlines is continued by a couple who says that their young son suffered burns in the second degree after the hot coffee was overturned on him during a flight.
On Wednesday, Ryan and Kamrie Wong filed the trial in Chicago. Reuters reported that their son, known as KW in the costume, was four years old.
The family was flying from Orlando to Chicago last September when a southwest on-the-road agent “in a precarious manner” a set of drinks with an arm, said the pursuit.
This adds that a coffee and then spread on the boy, who shouted: “It’s so hot!”
The child was crying and shouted, suffering from second degree burns in his buttocks, according to the costume.
He also said that on -board agents were not excused and did not know how to treat the boy’s injuries.
“KW was in significant, visible and vocal pain and distress throughout the rest of the flight,” added the complaint.
After landing in Chicago, the family then had to wait for another flight to Utah, where they live.
The trial indicates that an agent of the south-west door has aggravated the situation by placing KW directly on its buttocks, which burst one of its blisters.
Among other activities, the complaint adds that KW had difficulty sitting on its car seat, using the bathroom and dressing from the incident.
The boy would have missed about two weeks of preschool due to the pain and treatment of his burns.
“When KW returned to school, he had trouble sitting for long periods,” said the prosecution.
The Wongs accused Southwest Airlines of negligence and requested unpertified damages of more than $ 75,000.
Southwest told Business Insider that he had not commented on the current disputes.
