SEOUL – South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol was released from prison on Saturday evening, when prosecutors decided not to appeal an order from a district court to cancel his arrest.
Yoon came out of the Seoul detention center making a sign from his supporters, who welcomed him. The dismissed president bowed several times in front of them before getting into a car while waiting to take him to his residence in the center of Seoul.
