Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are Super Bowl-winning teammates, so there’s no real competition.

Everyone knows that Taylor Swift is the biggest pop music star on the planet.

With every buzzy TMZ news story and every jaw-dropping social media update about what Swift is wearing, singing, or posting, Kelce becomes bigger than Mahomes, simply by being romantically attached to an all-powerful woman who doesn’t can apparently do nothing wrong in 2024.

Thanks to all the Swifties — and there are so many of them it’s a little scary sometimes — Kelce has become the biggest name in America’s biggest sport, even if Mahomes is the franchise-changing quarterback leading a dynasty in Kansas City and already has three Super Bowl MVPs.

So yeah, Swifties: Trav and Tay Tay are invincible.

Especially when Kelce’s weekly New Heights podcast with Jason factors in, as the big brother prepares to showcase his wild-man skills to ESPN.

But Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are the true modern American sports couple, not the pop star and tight end.

Led by Brittany, the Mahomes have serious ties to the growing National Women’s Soccer League.

And Major League Soccer.

And the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball.

Add in Patrick’s well-documented love of Whataburger — he’s honed his famous “dad bod” with the help of fast food and hopes to one day open 30 franchises — and Kelce-Swift can’t compare in the field game to Patrick and Brittany.

“I love these two so much,” one Mahomes fan tweeted. “Patrick is not only a great athlete, but he also has his heart in the right place while being a down-to-earth guy.”

“How long will it be before he completely buys Kansas City?” a second fan joked.

The Chiefs QB is also an avid sports tweeter, regularly tweeting about his local KC teams, while promoting everything from the NBA playoffs to WWE.

“Great game! Big time blow! #NBAPlayoffs,” tweeted Mahomes, who publicly praised Luka Doncic, Reggie Bush and Chiefs general manager Brett Veach last month.

Patrick became so cool about sports in 2024 that he gave Jake Paul advice on how to beat Mike-Tyson, and also admitted that he was legitimately afraid of Iron Mike.

“I just met (Lionel) Messi the other day,” Mahomes told Logan Paul.

Patrick, Brittany, Kelce and Swift are expected to compete in the third edition of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, according to The Sun.

While Swifties sleuths hope Swift makes a sly Fernando Alonso reference, the Chiefs’ primary touchdown connection could check out struggling Alpine, which features Patrick and Kelce as investors but is still looking for just one point five carries in the 2024 season.

Patrick, Brittany, Kelce and Taylor have amassed so much wealth and star power that there’s no need for cutthroat competition.
