Sonny and Dex reach an agreement

At the gatehouse, Willow thinks Drew should be honored and excited to run for Congress. He asks what makes him think he can do that? She says he risked his life for her and his family, and he cares about people, so think about what he could do with this job and how many people he could help.

Michael comes in and asks if he’s interrupting a job. Willow says Drew has some exciting news. They sit down and Drew talks to Michael about the congressman asking him to run for his seat. Drew asks Michael for his opinion, as he knows it would have implications for Aurora. Michael says it’s a risky time to divide attention with the launch of the wellness division. Michael also says that if elected, he would have to place his shares in a blind trust, which the SEC would monitor, and that he would deprive Aurora of his personal vision and guidance. He cannot give him all his support on this point.

Willow argues that people don’t trust politicians these days and that politicians don’t do enough for the people they serve. She says McLunky was rare and he chose Drew to take his place. She says Drew is a veteran and his money means he won’t need special interest groups or lobbyists. She says Drew has to do this. Michael says she convinced him, and Drew says she convinced him too, and this is an opportunity to make things better. He says if he does that, he’ll need their help, and Michael and Willow say they’re all in.

At Bobbie’s, Molly and Dante are catching up when Dex enters. Molly comes out and Dante thanks Dex for meeting him. Dex lets Dante know that he is not pressing charges against Sonny. He doesn’t want Kristina to testify against her father because it could put a strain on the baby. He also says that Sonny probably won’t have much time and that upon his release he would have him killed, if not while incarcerated. Dante says he talked with his father and realized that he had misjudged his father the same way he had misjudged him.

Dante notes that he avoided him at the station so people wouldn’t think he was trying to pressure him into backing off from Sonny. Dex did the same thing for him too. Dante admits that he is grateful not to press charges for Kristina’s sake. Dex knows how much Sonny loves his children and that he doesn’t want to let them down. Dante says he’s starting to have doubts about this.

Outside, Blaze meets Molly. Molly asks if she’s seen Kristina recently. Blaze says she just left Kristina at her mom’s to see Alexis. Molly goes there and Blaze suggests they all go out together sometime. Molly is up for this because it would give them a chance to talk about what happened at that wedding. Blaze says Kristina is a little fragile now, but she’s okay. Molly is confused and Blaze assumes she knows because she mentioned marriage. Blaze doesn’t think it’s her place to tell him, but Molly doesn’t want to question Kristina and make her feel like it’s an interrogation. Blaze tells her that Kristina saw her father attack Dex. Molly just saw Dex’s face and said it’s no wonder she’s upset. Blaze says she was, but she’s fine. Molly thanks her and leaves.

At Alexis’s, Sam and Kristina talk about Gregory’s marriage and death. Kristina is still worried about their mother drinking if this hearing doesn’t go the way she wants. Sam says mom is a lot stronger than you think, and so is she. Kristina asks why she was included in this statement? Sam knows that Kristina is fiercely loyal and protective of those she loves, but she also has to protect herself. Sam believes that when it comes to doing the right thing, she believes Kristina will do it, no matter the cost to Sonny.

Kristina assumes she knows what happened at the wedding. Sam says she worries about carrying this weight. Kristina says Dex has already decided not to press charges. Sam asks how she feels about this. Kristina doesn’t want her father to go to prison, but he knows that she knows what he did and that he should have to face the consequences.

Alexis returns home and tells her daughters that they didn’t have to disrupt their day to come to her house. Sam says they brought lunch and Kristina asks about Albany. Alexis says they’ll talk about it when Molly arrives.

Molly soon arrives and Alexis informs them of the hearing. She says Neil’s brother was the opposing lawyer and he fought dirty. She is preparing for a judgment against her, and it will take thirty days for it to be rendered. Alexis also reveals that it was Ava Jerome who reported her for perjury.

The Davis girls all sit down to eat lunch. Kristina gets a text from Dante, who she hasn’t spoken to since everything happened. Sam offers to drive her and they leave.

Alone, Alexis asks Molly what’s going on since she hasn’t touched much of her food. Alexis says she doesn’t have to worry about starting to drink if she thinks about it. Molly says she’s proud of herself, but she has other things on her mind. Molly tells Alexis that Sonny lost it and assaulted Dex right in front of Kristina. Molly says that Kristina didn’t tell her any of this and that she must have heard it from Blaze. She doesn’t know if she didn’t tell him because she’s the ADA or because she’s going to get high. She can’t even talk to him about it without him making a big deal out of it. So she doesn’t know if she tells TJ or not because if she does he’ll go straight to Kristina to check on her too. Alexis tells Molly that the goal here is a calm and centered Kristina, and for that to be achieved, Molly can’t piss her off. Alexis says she will serve as a buffer between her and Sonny. Molly says as soon as this baby comes, she’ll keep Kristina and her drama away from her.

Sonny meets Joss in the park. She tries to ignore him, but he says if she has something to say, then say it. She tells him that he was her stepfather and that he was there for her when Oscar died, but he’s not that person anymore. She says he should be in prison for attacking Dex without provocation and threatening to kill him and Jason. She informs him that he was lucky because Dex didn’t press charges because of his children. She says Kristina was so broken that she went to Michael, the son he rejected, and he went to Dex to make things right. She warns him if he gets his hands on Dex again, just know that he has the ability to do it because Dex had the grace to let him go. Joss is jogging.

Later, Blaze meets Joss in the park. Joss asks how Kristina is doing. Blaze says she’s feeling better, but she let Molly slip about what happened with Sonny. Blaze tells Joss that she owes him an apology because she was right about Sonny. Joss says Kristina’s blinders are off now, and she partly wishes this wouldn’t happen and that Kristina would still be safe with her illusions about Sonny.

Sonny meets Dex, who is studying a police academy manual. Sonny tells him to relax and he just wants to talk to him. Dex says if it’s an ambush, he won’t let it happen. Sonny says, “Noted.”

Sonny sits down and reveals that he heard Dex isn’t pressing charges. Dex explains that he isn’t, for Kristina’s sake. Sonny knows it and he appreciates it. Sonny says that as far as he’s concerned, those tensions are over between them. Sonny says he’s a distraction and has more important things to attend to. Dex comments that he’s never seen him back down from his grudge. Sonny says Dex doesn’t know him at all and he’s not worth his time and energy. Sonny says, “You’re nothing to me now, for your sake, keep it up.”

Kristina arrives to meet Dante at Bobbie’s. Kristina says she has been everywhere since the attack and couldn’t believe it was her father at the time. The man she saw was ugly and full of rage. Kristina knows Dante has seen her like this before, like the time Sonny shot him. Dante says it wasn’t the same, he was cold, impassive like stone. Kristina says it was an accident and that’s why he didn’t go to jail.

Dante admits it wasn’t an accident and he lied about it being one. Dante says that while working undercover for Sonny, he fell in love with her and Michael, and he felt they were family before he realized it. He also says that he remembered what it was like growing up without a father, so when he woke up in GH, Lulu told him that he had a father, and that’s why he didn’t not denounced. Finding out he had a father was a gift. , the one he wasn’t going to lose, no matter who his father was. Kristina knows Dex isn’t pressing charges on her behalf and she’s glad she doesn’t have to testify, but part of her is afraid she’ll make things worse. She says if anything else happens, it will be her fault. Dante says it will be his fault too.

Maxie returns to Spinelli’s to help James and Georgie clean James’ laptop of cookies, which slows him down. Felicia welcomes Maxie home, and the children sing Spinelli’s praises and want him back. Felicia quickly suggests the kids go get ice cream to let Maxie and Spinelli talk.

Maxie admits that she misses him as much as the kids and would love for him to come back to live. Spinelli can’t believe he’s saying this, but he has to refuse. He says he loves her and doesn’t want them to be roommates but rather a real couple. Maxie says she does it too, so he asks how that would work. Would they share a room? Is she ready for this? Maxie isn’t and wants to take it slow. She thinks he can go back to the guest room, or will it be too difficult to wait until she’s ready? Spinelli says that, in a way, he’s always waited for her and can wait as long as necessary. Maxie asks, “So you’re going to move in and we’ll date?” He says nothing would delight him more and they kiss.

Felicia returns with the children and Spinelli announces the news of her return. The children rush to them and they all hug each other.

Later General Hospital: Laura and Jodan discussed the leaked information reaching the press. Curtis tells Portia that there must be something more to the story. Chase asks Liz if she doesn’t think he’s gained some understanding. Cates said to someone, “You’re playing right into his hands.” » Jason warns Sonny that he’s in serious trouble. Carly tells Molly she has something to say that stays between them.
