Update (): An update of Sonic Racing: Crossworlds website provided more information on the game, its post-launch content plan, and more.
The invited characters belonging to Sega (and their vehicles) revealed in the trailer above will come to Kart Racer as free DLC, while the appearances of external franchises, like Minecraft, will be premium additional modules.
A seasonal pass (included with the luxury digital version of the game) will give you access to these additional content packs.
Minecraft is the first of them, bringing a trio of drivers – Steve, Alex and Creecper – as well as a Minecraft course to run and a Minecart vehicle.
It will be one of the six DLC packs, each probably bringing a third -party IP to the Kart Racer crossover.
If you pre -order the standard or digital luxury edition of Crossworlds, you will also have access to ASHOG as a new character.
Once the game has received all its free and paid DLC, the list of characters will have more than 50.

The video shows appearances of Dragon Ichiban Kasuga, joker of Persona 5Hatsune Miku, and even characters from Minecraft.
It seems that the subtitle means more than the simple leap between the halfway dimensions-it also refers to the list of characters.
We also now have a release date; The game was launched on September 25, 2025, so it is not too far on the road.
