Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds team open to more DLC: “Tell us what you want”

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds already has a large cast of characters and apparently Sega may not be done yet.

Speaking to Polygon at the Brasil Game Show recently, series producer Takashi Iizuka mentioned how the DLC could potentially span over a year. It all depends on the attention fans give to the game and the feedback the team receives.

Here’s exactly what he had to say, noting how Sonic Team is also open to requests – from characters to other adjustments to the game:

“People really like the game, which gives us the confidence to continue to create more content… If enough people come and play it, there are conversations about the game. We have a year of DLC, we could do year two, we could do year three of DLC… Tell us what you want!… These are the things we can do because it’s an online game. We could add new gadgets, we could balance the game differently. “

Speaking of things like new DLC, Sega also announced today that the next free character update for that title will be arriving this week on October 22, 2025. In case you missed it, it’s the Joker from the Persona series, along with a new themed festival.
