The eldest son of NorwayFriday, the princess of the crown was accused of multiple rape leaders, sexual assault and bodily injury, after ten months of investigation.
Marius Borg Hoiby is the 28-year-old son of the Princess of the Crown Mette-Marit and stepfall of the heir to the throne-the Crown Prince Haakon. He was arrested several times in 2024 in the midst of allegations of rape and preliminary accusations of bodily injury.
Police dealing with allegations at “Double figure”
Hoiby has been exposed since and has been at the center of an investigation involving a two -digit number of victims.
“I cannot go into the details of the number of victims in the case beyond confirming that this is a two-digit number,” said Oslo police lawyer Andreas Kruszewski at a press conference.
He added that the accusations include a case of rape involving sexual intercourse, two cases of rape without sex, four cases of sexual assault and two cases of bodily lesions.
The lawyer said that the evidence had been collected from sources such as text messages, police searches and testimonial testimonies.
In an email at the Associated Press, the defense lawyer Petar Sekulic said that Hoiby “took the accusations very seriously, but recognizes no reprehensible act in most cases – in particular cases concerning sexual abuse and violence”.
