Manchester United Manager Ruben Amorim underlined the blame for the desperately disappointing disappointing season of Manchester United to his players.
The Red Devils arrive at the end of their worst Premier League campaign with the 16th seated club of the table after only 10 wins in 36 games.
Amorim took charge after the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag in October, but failed to transform things at the national level, managing only six victories in 25 games.
“I am embarrassed that in 25 games, we have won six,” Amorim told Sky Sports. “Something is not going well with the way we play football.”
“Sometimes, this is not the way we play tactically, this is the way we face competition and suffering. When we get angry with losing.
“Everything we have experienced, I have a clear image and a clear feeling of what this team needs to be so much better.
“It is not only on the ground, it is outside the field. We have all the conditions to be better.
Amorim added: “There are things that we cannot change in summer, the feeling in the club and the way we see it.
“The feeling that we cannot lose a match. We have to change this and not think of transfers. It’s deeper than changing people. We do it but people cannot see this.
“The way we work and the behavior we have in the club. The things we cannot see, we work there. We must forget the final and must be better against Chelsea.
United will face the Blues at Stamford Bridge on Friday evening, but most fans are looking at the final of the Europa League next Wednesday against Spurs, which has had an equally disappointing league season.
