Solar eclipse creates mini lunar shadows on the ground in Mexico City
Residents of Mexico City witnessed a magnificent sight when the solar eclipse created lunar shadows on the ground on April 8.
Video captured by Daniel Aguilar shows the crescent-shaped shadows filtered through the trees of Mexico City, as the solar eclipse reached totality in Mazatlan, Mexico.
The path of totality of the eclipse is “much wider” for the 2024 event than for the 2017 eclipse and will also pass through more populated areas, according to NASA. Credit: Daniel Aguilar via Storyful
