Sofia Vergara was slammed by one of her former co-stars after he called her the ‘rudeest celebrity’.
The Colombian-American actor is of course known for playing Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in Modern family. She has played many other major roles throughout her successful career, but for many, it is her role in the legendary television series that can never be forgotten.
But working with Vergara on the sitcom may be something this star would rather forget.
During its 11 seasons, Modern family has a whole bunch of celebrity cameos, from Kevin Hart and Stephanie Beatriz to James Marsden and Leslie Mann. And in 2019, Kelly Mantle starred in the episode “The Last Halloween.”

Vergara’s cameo co-star, the drag queen appeared on The Bald and the Beautiful podcast where she was asked who the “rude celebrity” she’s ever met was.
Mantle was quick to say “Modern family before revealing Vergara as the answer.
“Maybe it was just a bad day, I’m just going to say it was a bad day,” she explained. “Because she’s hilarious and beautiful and talented and gorgeous and wonderful. So I’m sure it was just a bad day.
The star went on to say that it was “not the most pleasant experience” she had on set.
“It wasn’t towards me, it was the way some of his staff were treated,” Mantle added.

The performer explained that during the episode, Vergara wore a wig and insisted against using bobby pins to hold it in place.
“In the picture, they’re yelling ‘action,’ and I’m supposed to put the crown on his hair, so I put the crown on and they say ‘cut,'” Mantle recalled.
“And she says to me, ‘pay attention to the wig, you put the crown on my head’. And I said, ‘Well, girl, you should have put those bobby pins in.’
Mantle claimed it was “more than” that exchange, but “it was one of the little things that happened that day” on set.
Vergara recently went viral for “helling” Jodie Foster during her Golden Globes win earlier this month.
